Glacier Peak Homes was born from a family's fight to get well. After Steve Stager's family of six fell ill from hidden mold caused by building defects, he dove deep into building science — learning the practices that prevent moisture intrusion, mold growth, and toxic exposure at the source. He built a healthy home for his own family, they started healing, and that became the foundation of the company.
Today Glacier Peak builds custom homes in Montana's Flathead Valley with meticulous attention to moisture management, sealed building envelopes, superior insulation (including BIBS), and clean-air design. Steve also offers nationwide virtual consultations for families building healthy homes anywhere in the country.
